Virginia Beach, Virginia “Investment Property” may enhance your portfolio!

November 23rd, 2009

Now more than ever, it is time to buy investment property in a resort city. Virginia Beach is surrounded with the Chesapeake Bay and Atlantic Ocean offering an array of condos and homes on the beach.  Even though this area was not diminished in value as other regions of the country, it does offer unique property at this time with significant reductions in price.  If it is a second home purchase, it also presents another tax deduction for the investor.  Purchasing a condo or home now is also another great venue for entering the rental market.  The military is on the move in this 5 city area and properties are quickly rented if presented properly staged to the tenant.

When is a good time to buy investment property?

March 8th, 2006

There are many valid answers to this question. It depends on your financial situation and of course, your long term goals.

Some of our clients desire a home that can be rented part of the year and allow tenants the remainder of the months.

Other clients purchase a home initially for rental and plan to retire and use the home in the next five years. By the time they occupy the home, it normally has increased significantly in value the day they move in.

I will be happy to answers specifics to your situation via email.
